We get up early for walks around the Lake Louise and Lake Moriane, We find the glacier blue color of the lakes remarkable. And keep trying to get the photos to match! 
We stop by elegant historic Post Hotel with views of the mountains in the backyard. We “adopt” this hotel and enjoy all the there offerings, internet, coffee, ice, comfortable chairs, etc. In the afternoon we head toward Jasper thru the Columbia Ice fields via the historic road of the Ice fields Parkway.
Huge mountain views come one after another, each so different. Neither Myia nor Gerrit has been here before and Myia keeps exclaiming like a child “WOW!” with each new vista. More than 13 glaciers are on the road and 1,000’s in the area. 
After sunset on the mountain, slept in the tall fir trees near Jasper.
