We explore the ship, getting lost all the time (this continues the whole cruise), from the top 13th deck, fitness and spa with the rock climbing wall, pool, hot tubs, vortex disco, smoking lounge too and late night food café - all with amazing views to the 11th floor view buffet with an amazing array of food which changes every day -
to the 6th floor cinema and full theatre where they have Broadway quality performances, to 4th floor center lounge with all kids of excellent music playing almost continually! And I don’t mention the large Casino and several other bars. We do have our first lunch in the dining room, like going out to eat for every meal, and for dinner we meet our table of 10 whom we will spend every dinner in the dining room with for the cruise. We join a lovely British couple who have cruised before to the Mediterranean and Caribbean and a family of 6, the elderly parents, 2 of their children and their spouses. The family is pretty quiet but the elderly father is quite a pleasant talker. The British couple is quite provocative and outgoing which looks promising for the table. We shall see. Nevertheless, as our totally agreeable Caribbean waiter says, we will be like family for the week! Scary. Formal dinner attire is recommended tonight and we see some with tuxedo’s and mostly men wear suits.
