Did I mention that we having been having fantastic weather? Everywhere we go they say that summer has just come and the rain has just left. Calgary is no exception. We have gorgeous days and nights. We wake up in the fields and drive into Calgary after breakfast, certainly is a dead downtown city at 8am on a Saturday morning. Get online in a historic shopping mall and work on our blog. 
Then to meet our new couchsurfing hosts. We get settled in our lovely private bedroom with bath and friendly hosts that make us feel very welcome. Wojtek is originally from Poland and Maggie is from Eastern Canada. They invite us to go with them to friends, Lee and Ann, who have a super deluxe motor home in a mobile park down by the river outside Calgary. We are treated to great company and fun times, talking, drinking Maggie’s superb Mojito’s, plus, eating and dancing! Lee and Ann put out a fantastic spread of grain fed Canadian steaks, baked potatoes, salad and special local berry pie with ice cream. YUM! And their motor home was magnificent! Heated marble floors, dishwasher, 3 TV’s, deluxe bath with full shower. Myia was envious, and driving this huge vehicle around is, they admitted, a big chore. We’ll stay with our little car sized van that has (almost) everything. A late night, we are so happy to sleep in a large bed that does not move.
